'Glory and Honor' in the Bible
to those who, by patient continuance in good works, seek for glory and honor and incorruptibility, eternal life:
but glory and honor and peace to every one that practices what is good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek:
Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels; thou hast crowned him with glory and honor;
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, that he might, by the grace of God, taste death for every man- we see him, on account of his having suffered death, crowned with glory and honor.
And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him that sits on the throne, who lives from age to age,
the twenty-four elders fall down before him that sits on the throne, and worship him that lives from age to age, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying: Thou art worthy, Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and by thy will they exist, and were created.
After these things, I heard the great voice of a vast multitude in heaven, saying: Alleluia; Salvation and glory and honor and power to our God:
And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
