'Most High' in the Bible

I will thank the Lord for His righteousness;I will sing about the name of Yahweh the Most High.

I will rejoice and boast about You;I will sing about Your name, Most High.

The Lord thundered from heaven;the Most High projected His voice.

For the king relies on the Lord;through the faithful love of the Most Highhe is not shaken.

There is a river—its streams delight the city of God,the holy dwelling place of the Most High.

For Yahweh, the Most High, is awe-inspiring,a great King over all the earth.

Sacrifice a thank offering to God,and pay your vows to the Most High.

I call to God Most High,to God who fulfills His purpose for me.

The wicked say, “How can God know?Does the Most High know everything?”

So I say, “I am grievedthat the right hand of the Most High has changed.”

But they continued to sin against Him,rebelling in the desert against the Most High.

They remembered that God was their rock,the Most High God, their Redeemer.

But they rebelliously tested the Most High God,for they did not keep His decrees.

I said, “You are gods;you are all sons of the Most High.

May they know that You alone—whose name is Yahweh—are the Most High over all the earth.

And it will be said of Zion,“This one and that one were born in her.”The Most High Himself will establish her.

The one who lives under the protection of the Most Highdwells in the shadow of the Almighty.

Because you have made the Lord—my refuge,the Most High—your dwelling place,

A psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.It is good to praise Yahweh,to sing praise to Your name, Most High,

For You, Lord,are the Most High over all the earth;You are exalted above all the gods.

because they rebelled against God’s commandsand despised the counsel of the Most High.
