'My Father' in the Bible
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
And another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."
"Therefore everyone who acknowledges me before people, I also will acknowledge him before my Father [who is] in heaven.
But whoever denies me before people, I also will deny him before my Father [who is] in heaven.
All [things] have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and {anyone to whom} the Son wants to reveal [him].
For whoever does the will of my Father [who is] in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother."
And Jesus answered [and] said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [this] to you, but my Father [who is] in heaven.
"See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven constantly see the face of my Father [who is] in heaven.
Again, truly I say to you that if two of you agree on earth about any matter that they ask, it will be done for them from my Father [who is] in heaven.
He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but [is] for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
Then the king will say to those on his right, 'Come, [you] who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world!
But I tell you, from now [on] I will never drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father."
And going forward a little he fell down on his face, praying and saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you [will]."
Again for the second time he went away [and] prayed, saying, "My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will must be done."
Or do you think that I cannot call upon my Father, and he would put at my disposal at once more than twelve legions of angels?
