'Possess the Land' in the Bible

Behold, I have set the land before you. Go in and possess the land which LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their seed after them.

until LORD gives rest to your brothers, as to you, and they also possess the land which LORD your God gives them beyond the Jordan, then ye shall return every man to his possession, which I have given you.

And now, O Israel, hearken to the statutes and to the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which LORD, the God of your fathers, gives you.

All the commandment which I command thee this day ye shall observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which LORD swore to your fathers.

And when LORD sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you, then ye rebelled against the commandment of LORD your God, and ye did not believe him, nor hearken to his voice.

And LORD said to me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, and they shall go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give to them.

Therefore ye shall keep all the commandment which I command thee this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where ye go over to possess it,

For ye are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which LORD your God gives you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell in it.
