'Raised from the Dead' in the Bible
Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
Many people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
And killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that you should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.
Remember that Jesus Christ, descended from David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
