'Taste Death' in the Bible
Solemnly I tell you, some of those who are standing here shall not taste death, till they have seen the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
"In solemn truth I tell you," he said, "there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God, come with power."
"But I tell you truly there are some of those standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God."
"Now we know that you have a demon," exclaimed the Jews. Abraham died, and so did the prophets; and yet you say, 'If any man obeys my teaching he shall never taste death.'
What we do see is Jesus, who was made for a time a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor, because of the suffering of death, in order that through God's grace he might taste death for every man.
