'The Twelve' in the Bible
And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get food: for we are here in a desert place.
Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
And when the hour came, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
That you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
