And seeing them troubled to proceed, for the wind was against them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them walking on the lake, and wished to pass by them.

And Jesus called them and said to them, You know that those who desire to rule the gentiles exercise lordship over them, and their great men exercise authority over them;

When I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name which thou gayest me, and preserved [them], and no one of them has been lost, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled;

And punishing them often in all the synagogues, I compelled them to blaspheme, and being exceedingly mad against them, I pursued them even to cities abroad.
