I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.
And the crowds kept saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee!”
Although they were looking for a way to arrest Him, they feared the crowds, because they regarded Him as a prophet.
But others said, “He’s Elijah.” Still others said, “He’s a prophet—like one of the prophets.”
Then fear came over everyone, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen among us,” and “God has visited His people.”
So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene,
“Sir,” the woman replied, “I see that You are a prophet.
When the people saw the sign He had done, they said, “This really is the Prophet who was to come into the world!”

When the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, “This man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what kind of woman this is who is touching Him—she’s a sinner!”
And the crowds kept saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee!”

Again they asked the blind man, “What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?”
“He’s a prophet,” he said.

This man came to Him at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher, for no one could perform these signs You do unless God were with him.”
“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.
“This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your brothers.
And everyone who will not listen to that Prophet will be completely cut off from the people.
how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was first spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.
Moses said: The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him in everything He will say to you. And it will be that everyone who will not listen to that Prophet will be completely cut off from the people.

Immediately Jesus spoke to them. "Have courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." "Lord, if it's You," Peter answered Him, "command me to come to You on the water." "Come!" He said. And climbing out of the boat, Peter started walking on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid. And beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out His hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" When they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those in the boat worshiped Him and said, "Truly You are the Son of God!"
