and when My glory passes by, I will put you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.



You hide them in the protection of Your presence;
You conceal them in a shelter
from the schemes of men,
from quarrelsome tongues.


Be a rock of refuge for me,
where I can always go.
Give the command to save me,
for You are my rock and fortress.


For You have been a stronghold for the poor,
a stronghold for the needy person in his distress,
a refuge from the rain, a shade from the heat.
When the breath of the violent
is like rain against a wall,

Return to a stronghold,
you prisoners who have hope;

Wisdom calls out in the street; she raises her voice in the public squares. She cries out above the commotion; she speaks at the entrance of the city gates: "How long, foolish ones, will you love ignorance? [How long] will [you] mockers enjoy mocking and [you] fools hate knowledge? read more.
If you turn to my discipline, then I will pour out my spirit on you and teach you my words.
