And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck the servant of the chief priest, and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him: Put back your sword into its place; for all that take the sword, shall perish by the sword.

And one of those who were standing by, drew a sword, and struck the servant of the chief priest, and cut off his ear.

When those who were about him saw what would be done, they said to him: Lord, shall we strike with the sword? And a certain one of them struck the servant of the chief priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said: Let this matter proceed thus far. And he touched his ear and healed him.

In those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch.

And God has placed some in the church, first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then mighty deeds; then gifts of healing; helps, governments, kinds of tongues.
