But when they shall lead you to deliver you up, be not anxiously careful beforehand what ye shall speak, neither premeditate: but whatever shall be suggested to you at that very time, this speak: for it is not you that speak, but the holy Spirit.

And He said to his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat; nor for the body, what ye shall put on: the life is more than food, and the body than raiment. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap; they have neither store-house nor barn, and yet God feedeth them: how much more worth are ye than the fowls?read more.
And which of you by all his thought can add one moment to his life? If then ye cannot do even the lest, why are ye so anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I tell you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothe the grass which is to day in the field, and to-morrow is cast into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; neither be ye in careful suspense: for all these things the nations of the world seek after; but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity, the sea and the waves roring: and men ready to die for fear and apprehension of the things that are coming upon the land; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming, as on a cloud, with power and great glory.read more.
But when these things begin to come to pass, look upwards and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.

And we know that all things co-operate for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose;

But after long abstinence from food, Paul stood up in the midst of them and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not loosed from Crete, and so have saved this damage and loss. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time;
