13 Bible Verses about Attitudes, in prayer

Persevere in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;

And He was parted from them about a stone's throw; and, kneeling down, He prayed,

And, kneeling down, he cried with a loud voice, "Lord, lay not this sin to them!" And, having said this, he fell asleep.

For this cause I bow my knees to the Father,

that, in the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of beings in Heaven, and on earth, and under the earth,

And, going forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt."

And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any; that your Father also Who is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

The Pharisee, having taken his stand, was praying these things with himself: 'God, I thank Thee that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax-collector!

On this account, take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day; and, having fully accomplished all, to stand. Stand, therefore, having girded your loins about with truth, and having put on the breast-plate of righteousness,

So, then, brethren, stand fast, and hold the instructions which ye were taught, whether through speech, or through letter of ours.

Be ye also patient; establish your hearts, because the coming of the Lord has drawn near.

but, if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with One another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Therefore, having so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us??aving thrown off every encumbrance and the easily besetting sin??et us run with patience the race lying before us;
