Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, Does not behave itself rudely, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, keeps no record of evil; Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling fragrance.
But concerning brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.
And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven:
Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely you have received, freely give.
A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.

Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever would be great among you, shall be your servant: And whosoever of you will be the first, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:read more.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good life his works with meekness of wisdom.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are idle, encourage the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Preach the word; be diligent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain. Be also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws near. Murmur not one against another, brethren, lest you be judged: behold, the judge stands before the door.read more.
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very compassionate, and of tender mercy.
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
