6 Bible Verses about Comfort, Those In Need

Comfort you, comfort you my people, says your God.

Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are idle, encourage the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

For, when we were come into Macedonia, our body had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. Nevertheless God, who comforts those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; And not by his coming only, but by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.

Therefore comfort one another with these words.
