Wherefore exhort one another, and edify one another, as you also do.
For those things which were written before were written for our instruction, that through patience and the consolation of the Scriptures we may have hope.
And Joseph, called Barnabas by the apostles, which is interpreted, A son of consolation, a Levite, a Cyprian by birth,
These things have I told you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have affliction; but be of good courage, I have overcome the world.

but he that prophesies speaks to men to edification and exhortation and consolation.
let us hold firmly the profession of the faith, without declining; for he is faithful that promised; and let us observe one another for a provocation of love and of good works,
