8 Bible Verses about Condemned Hearts

Those with twisted minds are detestable to the Lord,
but those with blameless conduct are His delight.

A devious heart will be far from me;
I will not be involved with evil. I will destroy anyone
who secretly slanders his neighbor;
I cannot tolerate anyone
with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.

Everyone with a proud heart is detestable to the Lord;
be assured, he will not go unpunished.

One with a twisted mind will not succeed,
and one with deceitful speech will fall into ruin.

But when the Lord finishes all His work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, He will say, “I will punish the king of Assyria for his arrogant acts and the proud look in his eyes.”

I, Yahweh, examine the mind,
I test the heart
to give to each according to his way,
according to what his actions deserve.

For this is what the Lord God says: “Because you clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and rejoiced over the land of Israel with wholehearted contempt, therefore I am about to stretch out My hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples and eliminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am Yahweh.”

Therefore God delivered them over in the cravings of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves.
