Let wives [be subject] to their husbands as to the Lord, for the husband is the head of the wife, as also Christ is the head of the church; he is the savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also let wives be subject to husbands in every thing.read more.

The saying is true, For if we died together we shall live together; if we endure patiently we shall reign together; if we deny him he will deny us; if we believe not he continues faithful; for he cannot deny himself.
For you have need of patience, that having done the will of God you may receive the promise.
If any one [leads] into captivity, he shall go into captivity; if any one kills with the sword, he shall be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints.
Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
Let a man so regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. But, moreover, it is required of stewards that one should be found faithful.
Till I come attend to reading, exhortation, teaching. Neglect not the gift which is in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the imposition of hands of the eldership. Study these things, be much in them, that your improvement may be manifest to all.read more.
Attend to yourself, and to teaching; continue in it, for doing this you will both save yourself and those that hear you.
O Timothy, keep the trust, turning away from profane and empty words, and contradictions of mis-named science,

STAND firm in the liberty with which Christ has made you free, and be not again subject to a yoke of servitude.
Take therefore the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all to stand.
His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few [talents], I will place you over many: enter into the joy of your lord.
