Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand is power and might; and it is in Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone.
They replied, ‘We are servants of the God of heaven and earth, and are rebuilding the temple which was erected many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.
“Am I a God who is at hand,” says the Lord,
“And not a God far away?”
“Can anyone hide himself in secret places

But I will restore their fortunes, and will have mercy on them.’”
Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, so that I may speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth as witnesses against them.

Yet it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a letter of the Law to fail and become void.
