Jesus saith to him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how is it that thou sayest, Show us the Father? Dost thou not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not from myself; but the Father, who dwelleth in me, doeth his works. Believe me, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; but if not, believe for the very works sake.

Think not that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfill.

Every thing that the Father hath is mine. For this cause I said, that he receiveth of what is mine, and will tell it to you.

and in what appertained to him appearing as a man, he humbled himself, and was obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also highly exalted him, and gave him a name which is above every name; that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God, the Father.

Christ then having suffered in the flesh, do ye also arm yourselves with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; that ye may no longer live the remaining time in the flesh after the lusts of men, but after the will of God.
