And He answered them, saying, Because it is granted unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not granted:

And he said unto them, To you it is granted to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but unto them that are without all things are delivered in parables:

And He said, To you it is granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but I speak to others in parables, that in seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

and make all men to see the communication of the mystery, which from the ages past hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ;

Now to Him that is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, (conformable to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret in former times,

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, that hidden wisdom which God ordained before the worlds for our glory:

even that mystery which was hid from former ages and generations, but is now manifested to his saints:

having made known to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure, which He had before purposed in Himself:

when ye read it, ye may perceive my knowledge in the mystery of Christ,)

that their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all the riches of a full assurance of understanding in these things, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of our God and Father, and of Christ:

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

and of the same body, and joint-partakers of his promise in Christ, by the gospel:

For I would not have you, brethren, to be ignorant of this mystery, (least ye should be wise in your own eyes) that blindness in part is befallen Israel, till the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

to whom God would make known the rich glory of this mystery, among the gentiles; which is this, that Christ is in you the hope of glory:

having made known to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure, which He had before purposed in Himself: that in the dispensation of the fulness of times, He might reduce all things, both in heaven and on earth, under one head in Christ:

Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet (for the trumpet shall sound) and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed: for this corruptible body must put on incorruption, and this mortal body must be clothed with immortality.

but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall sound his trumpet, the mystery of God shall be finished, as He hath declared to his servants the prophets.

And upon her forehead was a name written, "Mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots, and of the abominations of the earth." And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement. On me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace bestowed, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and make all men to see the communication of the mystery, which from the ages past hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ;

Of which I was made a minister according to the dispensation of God, which is given me towards you, that I might fully declare the word of God: even that mystery which was hid from former ages and generations, but is now manifested to his saints: to whom God would make known the rich glory of this mystery, among the gentiles; which is this, that Christ is in you the hope of glory:

Praying at the same time for us also, that God would open to us a door of utterance, to declare the mystery of Christ, for which also I am in bonds: that I may make it manifest, as I ought.

For the mystery of iniquity is already working, only there is one that hindreth till he be taken out of the way.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and am acquainted with all mysteries, and all knowledge: yea if I have faith, even. to remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

What shall we say then? Is there injustice in God? God forbid! For He saith to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Nay but, O man, who art thou, that disputest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, out of the same mass to make one vessel to honor and another to dishonor? And what if God, though resolved to shew his displeasure at last, and to make known his power, yet bore with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction? and that He might make known the riches of his glory in the vessels of mercy, which He hath prepared for glory?

concerning which salvation the prophets, who prophesied of the grace to be conferred on you, enquired and diligently sought after it: searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ in them did declare in testifying beforehand the sufferings that were to come upon Christ, and the glories following them: to whom it was revealed, that it was not to themselves, but to us they ministered these things, which are now declared unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you, through the holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

for those whom he foreknew, He also predetermined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be as the first-born among many brethren: and whom He before ordained, these He also called; and whom He called, these he also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
