If he will not listen to them, tell the church; "but if he will not heed the church, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax-gatherer.
"Nor do I pray for them alone, but for those also who believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, even as thou, Father, art in me and I in thee; that they also may be in us; in order that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one even as we are one,read more.
I in them and thou in me; that they may be made perfectly one, so that the world may recognize that thou didst send me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
If it be possible, so far as it lies with you, be at peace with all men. Herod and Pilate became friends again from that very day; for before they had been at enmity between themselves.
When they were through breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others do?" "Yes, Lord, you know that you are dear to me." he answered. So he came to Jerusalem, and attempted to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, because they did not believe that he was a disciple. But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles, and told them how Saul had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him; and also how he had preached the Name of the Lord Jesus boldly at Damascus. Henceforth Saul was one of them, going in and out of the city, and speaking fearlessly in the Name of the Lord.
