silver, precious stones, or wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest. For the great day will shew it; because it will be discovered by fire, and the fire will prove every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide, which he hath built upon it, he shall receive a reward:read more.
but if any man's work be burnt, he will be damaged; though he himself shall be saved, but, as it were out of fire.

do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men; knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ;

He that receiveth a prophet as a prophet, shall have a prophet's reward: and he that receiveth a righteous man as such, shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to one of these mean persons but a cup of cold water to drink, as my disciple, I assure you, he shall not lose his reward.

Take ye therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that hath the ten talents; (for to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound; but from him that hath not, even what he hath, or seemeth to have, shall be taken away:)

For whosoever shall give you but a cup of water to drink, for my sake; because ye are Christ's, I assure you, he shall not lose his reward.

yea and every one who hath left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, shall receive an hundred-fold, and shall inherit eternal life.

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I tell you, there is no one that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake and the gospel's, but he shall receive an hundred-fold: now in this time indeed, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands with persecutions; but in the world to come life everlasting.

Then said Jesus to his disciples, If any one is willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me: for he that would save his life shall lose it; but he that would lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give as a ransom for his soul?

Jesus replied, If thou wouldst be perfect, go, sell thy estate, and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come and follow me.

Then said Peter, Behold, we have quitted all, and followed Thee. And He said unto them, Verily I tell you, there is no one that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive manifold more even in this life, and in the world to come life everlasting.

I therefore so run, not as unobserved: I so fight, not as one that beateth the air: but I mortify my body and bring it into subjection, least after having preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

partly, being made a public spectacle by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, as ye became associates of those who were so treated: for ye sympathized with me in my bonds, and ye took joyfully the plundering of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

And others had the trial of mockings and scourgings, and of bonds too and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain by the sword: they went about in sheep-skins, and goat-skins, being destitute, afflicted, distressed, (of whom the world was not worthy) wandering in deserts, and mountains, and dens, and caves of the earth.read more.
And these all, though they obtained an honorable testimony by faith, yet received not the promise; God having provided something better concerning us, that without us they might not be made perfect.

Then Peter replied and said unto Him, Behold we have quitted all and have followed thee; what then shall we have? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I tell you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration, when the son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon the twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel:

For the Son of man will come in the glory of his father, with his angels, and then he will recompense every one according to his practice.

So when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon his glorious throne: and all nations shall be assembled before Him; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats: and He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.read more.
Then will the king say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was famishing, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; I was naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye took care of me; I was in prison, and ye visited me.

He said also to him that had invited Him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, do not invite thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kindred, nor thy rich neighbors; least they invite thee again, and so a return be made thee. But when thou makest a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind; and thou shalt be happy; because they have not wherewith to requite thee: for a recompense shall be given thee at the resurrection of the just.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith. As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.

And when the sovereign Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive an unfading crown of glory.

And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to recompense every one according to his work.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be his people, and God himself, even their God, will be with them.

not that I have yet won the prize, or am already perfect: but I press forward to acquire that perfection, for which also I have been apprehended by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have attained it: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to those before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Cast not away therefore your couragious profession, which hath a great recompence of reward.

whereas without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe, that He is, and is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Fear none of the things which thou wilt suffer: behold the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall suffer affliction ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
