Then will the king say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was famishing, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; I was naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye took care of me; I was in prison, and ye visited me. Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? and when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? and when did we see thee sick, or in prison, and visited thee? And the king replying will say unto them, Verily I declare unto you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of the lest of these my brethren, ye did it to me.

let him seek peace, and pursue it: for the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."

for the righteousness of God is therein revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

And that by the law no one is justified before God is evident; for it is written "The just shall live by faith:"

and the just shall live by faith, but if any draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

that ye may be the children of your heavenly Father; for He causeth his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain upon the just and the unjust.

He said also to him that had invited Him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, do not invite thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kindred, nor thy rich neighbors; least they invite thee again, and so a return be made thee. But when thou makest a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind; and thou shalt be happy; because they have not wherewith to requite thee: for a recompense shall be given thee at the resurrection of the just.

But this I confess unto thee, that after the way, which they call heresy, so do I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law, and the prophets: having hope in God, (which they themselves also expect) that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. And on this account do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence both towards God and towards men.
