9 Bible Verses about Spiritual Blindness, In Unbelievers

The way of the wicked is as darkness; they know not at what they stumble.

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

They have not known nor understood; for He has shut their eyes so that they cannot see; and their hearts so that they cannot understand.

Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see and see not. They have ears to hear and hear not, for they are a rebellious house.

And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed.

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

And those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, Are we also blind? Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see. Therefore your sin remains.

Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand.

And He said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. But to others I speak in parables, so that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not understand.
