And it came to pass when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
And if a man also striveth for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he striveth lawfully.
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those who are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gur-baal, and the Mehunims.
Moreover, Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
