'Account' in the Bible
The former account, indeed, I made concerning all things, O Theophilus, that Jesus began both to do and to teach,
being distressed on account of their teaching the people and preaching by Jesus the resurrection from among the dead;
But they, having further threatened them, let them go, finding no way how they might punish them, on account of the people, because all glorified God for what had taken place;
And when they had been made free, they came back to their friends, and gave an account of all the things which the chief priests and the authorities had said to them.
But Barnabas took him to the Apostles and gave them an account of how he had seen the Lord on the road, and had given hearing to his words, and how at Damascus he had been preaching in the name of Jesus without fear.
"On no account, Lord," he replied; "for I have never yet eaten anything unholy and impure."
But Peter gave them an account of it all in order, saying to them,
"'On no account, Lord,' I replied, 'for nothing unholy or impure has ever gone into my mouth.'
And he gave us an account of how he had seen the angel in his house, saying, Send to Joppa, and get Simon, named Peter, to come to you;
Those, however, who had been driven in various directions by the persecution which broke out on account of Stephen made their way to Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, delivering the Message to none but Jews.
And the account was heard in the ears of the assembly that is in Jerusalem concerning them, and they sent forth Barnabas to go through unto Antioch,

Symeon has given an account of how God was first pleased to take from among the Gentiles a people for himself.
