'Again' in the Bible
After listening to the king they left, and once again the star they saw when it rose led them until it stopped above the place where the child was.
Jesus said to him, "Once again it is written: 'You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.'"
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur.
"You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people.
"Again, you have heard that it was said to an older generation, 'Do not break an oath, but fulfill your vows to the Lord.'
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea that caught all kinds of fish.
Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.
Again I say, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God."
When it was about nine o'clock in the morning, he went out again and saw others standing around in the marketplace without work.
So they went. When he went out again about noon and three o'clock that afternoon, he did the same thing.
After noticing a fig tree by the road he went to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. He said to it, "Never again will there be fruit from you!" And the fig tree withered at once.
Again he sent other slaves, more than the first, and they treated them the same way.
Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:
Again he sent other slaves, saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Look! The feast I have prepared for you is ready. My oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet."'
He came again and found them sleeping; they could not keep their eyes open.
So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.
He denied it again with an oath, "I do not know the man!"
Then Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up his spirit.
and said, "Sir, we remember that while that deceiver was still alive he said, 'After three days I will rise again.'
