'Ancient' in the Bible
The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.

We existed from ancient times, but you did not rule over them, they were not your subjects.
From ancient times no one has heard,no one has listened,no eye has seen any God except You,who acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him.
You meet with the one who rejoices, one who does righteousness. In your ways they remember you. Look! You were angry and we sinned against them [in] ancient [times] and we were saved.
