'Army' in the Bible

Now Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's army, had taken Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

When Joab and all the army who was with him had come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he has sent him away, and he is gone in peace.

It shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then you shall stir yourself up; for then Yahweh has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines."

When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had struck all the army of Hadadezer,

Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;

When David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the army of the mighty men.

Hadadezer sent, and brought out the Syrians who were beyond the River: and they came to Helam, with Shobach the captain of the army of Hadadezer at their head.
