'Day' in the Bible
Do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me,As in the day of trial in the wilderness,
But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;
He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before,“Today if you hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts.”
For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
Not like the covenant which I made with their fathersOn the day when I took them by the handTo lead them out of the land of Egypt;For they did not continue in My covenant,And I did not care for them, says the Lord.
not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
