And Jesus said to them, “The attendants of the bridegroom cannot mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.

for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

When He had come back to Capernaum several days afterward, it was heard that He was at home.

But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.

In those days, when there was again a large crowd and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and *said to them,

“I feel compassion for the people because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat.

Six days later, Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John, and *brought them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them;

For He was teaching His disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill Him; and when He has been killed, He will rise three days later.”

They will mock Him and spit on Him, and scourge Him and kill Him, and three days later He will rise again.”

But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!

For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will.

Unless the Lord had shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.

“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light,

Now the Passover and Unleavened Bread were two days away; and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to seize Him by stealth and kill Him;

“We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”

Those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, wagging their heads, and saying, “Ha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah; and he had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.

When the days of his priestly service were ended, he went back home.

After these days Elizabeth his wife became pregnant, and she kept herself in seclusion for five months, saying,

And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

But the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, “There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day.”

And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.

And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:

It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;

For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side,

So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.

After the two days He went forth from there into Galilee.

So when He heard that he was sick, He then stayed two days longer in the place where He was.

So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.

Jesus *said, “Remove the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, *said to Him, “Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus *came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.”

To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,‘That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind;And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,And your young men shall see visions,And your old men shall dream dreams;

Even on My bondslaves, both men and women,I will in those days pour forth of My SpiritAnd they shall prophesy.

And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days.

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census and drew away some people after him; he too perished, and all those who followed him were scattered.

and he took food and was strengthened.Now for several days he was with the disciples who were at Damascus,

When many days had elapsed, the Jews plotted together to do away with him,

Paul, having remained many days longer, took leave of the brethren and put out to sea for Syria, and with him were Priscilla and Aquila. In Cenchrea he had his hair cut, for he was keeping a vow.

We sailed from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread, and came to them at Troas within five days; and there we stayed seven days.

After looking up the disciples, we stayed there seven days; and they kept telling Paul through the Spirit not to set foot in Jerusalem.

When our days there were ended, we left and started on our journey, while they all, with wives and children, escorted us until we were out of the city. After kneeling down on the beach and praying, we said farewell to one another.

As we were staying there for some days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.

After these days we got ready and started on our way up to Jerusalem.
