'Engulfed' in the Bible

He led them safely, so that they did not fear;But the sea engulfed their enemies.

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,And engulfed the company of Abiram.

Then the waters would have engulfed us,The stream would have swept over our soul;

“The sea has come up over Babylon;She has been engulfed with its tumultuous waves.

“For You had cast me into the deep,Into the heart of the seas,And the current engulfed me.All Your breakers and billows passed over me.

“Water encompassed me to the point of death.The great deep engulfed me,Weeds were wrapped around my head.
