'Forever' in the Bible

but to the Son:Your throne, God,is forever and ever,and the scepter of Your kingdomis a scepter of justice.

also said in another passage, You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

Jesus has entered there on our behalf as a forerunner, because He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

without father, mother, or genealogy,having neither beginning of days nor end of life,but resembling the Son of God—remains a priest forever.

For it has been testified:You are a priest foreverin the order of Melchizedek.

but He became a priest with an oath made by the One who said to Him:The Lord has sworn,and He will not change His mind,You are a priest forever.

But because He remains forever, He holds His priesthood permanently.

For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak, but the promise of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son, who has been perfected forever.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

equip you with all that is good to do His will, working in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. Glory belongs to Him forever and ever. Amen.
