'Gentiles' in the Bible
“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—
If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
“And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: “Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans;
and you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
“Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen;My Beloved in whom My soul is well-pleased;I will put My Spirit upon Him,And He shall proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
“And in His name the Gentiles will hope.”
and will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and scourge and crucify Him, and on the third day He will be raised up.”
But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them.
