'Hand' in the Bible

But stretch out Your hand and strike everything he owns, and he will surely curse You to Your face.”

“Very well,” the Lord told Satan, “everything he owns is in your power. However, you must not lay a hand on Job himself.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence.

But stretch out Your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse You to Your face.”

Isn’t mankind consigned to forced labor on earth?Are not his days like those of a hired hand?

There is no one to judge between us,to lay his hand on both of us.

even though You know that I am not wickedand that there is no one who can deliver from Your hand?

if there is iniquity in your hand, remove it,and don’t allow injustice to dwell in your tents—

Which of all these does not knowthat the hand of the Lord has done this?

The life of every living thing is in His hand,as well as the breath of all mankind.

remove Your hand from me,and do not let Your terror frighten me.

look away from him and let him restso that he can enjoy his day like a hired hand.

He wanders about for food, saying, “Where is it?”He knows the day of darkness is at hand.
