'Happens' in the Bible

but has no root in himself, but is for a time only; and when tribulation or persecution happens on account of the word, he is immediately offended.

And he said also to the crowds, When ye see a cloud rising out of the west, straightway ye say, A shower is coming; and so it happens.

And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it happens.

I tell you it now before it happens, that when it happens, ye may believe that I am he.
