'Houses' in the Bible

Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, every male, by their polls;

And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

And the children of Reuben, Israel's first-born, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, those that were numbered thereof, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Joseph, namely , of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

So all they that were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers houses, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the ensigns of their fathers houses: over against the tent of meeting shall they encamp round about.

These are they that were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers houses: all that were numbered of the camps according to their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

Thus did the children of Israel; according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so they encamped by their standards, and so they set forward, every one by their families, according to their fathers houses.

Number the children of Levi by their fathers houses, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.

And the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers houses.

Take the sum of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers houses, by their families;

As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them by their families, by their fathers houses;

And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers houses,

And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers houses,

even those that were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers houses, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.

And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers houses,

All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers houses,

that the princes of Israel, the heads of their fathers houses, offered. These were the princes of the tribes, these are they that were over them that were numbered:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of them rods, one for each fathers house, of all their princes according to their fathers houses, twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.

And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi; for there shall be one rod for each head of their fathers houses.

And Moses spake unto the children of Israel; and all their princes gave him rods, for each prince one, according to their fathers houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers houses, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel.

Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers houses of the congregation;

We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

So Moses gave charge concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.

for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:

And the heads of the fathers houses of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the heads of the fathers houses of the children of Israel:
