'Lion's' in the Bible

After some time, when he returned to get her, he left the road to see the lion’s carcass, and there was a swarm of bees with honey in the carcass.

He scooped some honey into his hands and ate it as he went along. When he returned to his father and mother, he gave some to them and they ate it. But he did not tell them that he had scooped the honey from the lion’s carcass.

A king’s rage is like the roaring of a lion,but his favor is like dew on the grass.

Their roaring is like a lion’s;they roar like young lions;they growl and seize their preyand carry it off,and no one can rescue it.

a human face turned toward the palm tree on one side, and a lion’s face turned toward it on the other. They were carved throughout the temple on all sides.

Where is the lions’ lair,or the feeding ground of the young lions,where the lion and lioness prowled,and the lion’s cub,with nothing to frighten them away?

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the proclamation might be fully made through me and all the Gentiles might hear. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.

The beast I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like a bear’s, and his mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
