'None' in the Bible

The strong man will become tinder,His work also a spark.Thus they shall both burn togetherAnd there will be none to quench them.

No one in it is weary or stumbles,None slumbers or sleeps;Nor is the belt at its waist undone,Nor its sandal strap broken.

And it will be that like a hunted gazelle,Or like sheep with none to gather them,They will each turn to his own people,And each one flee to his own land.

The city of chaos is broken down;Every house is shut up so that none may enter.

It will not be quenched night or day;Its smoke will go up forever.From generation to generation it will be desolate;None will pass through it forever and ever.

Seek from the book of the Lord, and read:Not one of these will be missing;None will lack its mate.For His mouth has commanded,And His Spirit has gathered them.

“The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none,And their tongue is parched with thirst;I, the Lord, will answer them Myself,As the God of Israel I will not forsake them.

You have seen many things, but you do not observe them;Your ears are open, but none hears.

But this is a people plundered and despoiled;All of them are trapped in caves,Or are hidden away in prisons;They have become a prey with none to deliver them,And a spoil, with none to say, “Give them back!”

“You are My witnesses,” declares the Lord,“And My servant whom I have chosen,So that you may know and believe MeAnd understand that I am He.Before Me there was no God formed,And there will be none after Me.

“Even from eternity I am He,And there is none who can deliver out of My hand;I act and who can reverse it?”

‘Do not tremble and do not be afraid;Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it?And you are My witnesses.Is there any God besides Me,Or is there any other Rock?I know of none.’”

Thus says the Lord,“The products of Egypt and the merchandise of CushAnd the Sabeans, men of stature,Will come over to you and will be yours;They will walk behind you, they will come over in chainsAnd will bow down to you;They will make supplication to you:‘Surely, God is with you, and there is none else,No other God.’”

For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited),“I am the Lord, and there is none else.

“Declare and set forth your case;Indeed, let them consult together.Who has announced this from of old?Who has long since declared it?Is it not I, the Lord?And there is no other God besides Me,A righteous God and a Savior;There is none except Me.

“So have those become to you with whom you have labored,Who have trafficked with you from your youth;Each has wandered in his own way;There is none to save you.

“Why was there no man when I came?When I called, why was there none to answer?Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom?Or have I no power to deliver?Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke,I make the rivers a wilderness;Their fish stink for lack of waterAnd die of thirst.

There is none to guide her among all the sons she has borne,Nor is there one to take her by the hand among all the sons she has reared.

All of us growl like bears,And moan sadly like doves;We hope for justice, but there is none,For salvation, but it is far from us.
