'Raged' in the Bible
The battle became heavy against Saul, and the archers found him; and he was [mortally] wounded by the archers.
The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered and were moved; He raised His voice, the earth melted.
Therefore, thus says the Lord God, ‘Because you have more turmoil than the nations which surround you and have not walked in My statutes, nor kept My ordinances, nor observed the ordinances of the nations which surround you,’
And the nations (Gentiles) became enraged, and Your wrath and indignation came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and [the time came] to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints (God’s people) and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and [the time came] to destroy the destroyers of the earth.”
