'Regard' in the Bible

And in regard to them the prophecy of Isaiah is receiving signal fulfilment: "'You will hear and hear and by no means understand, and you will look and look and by no means see.

And he said to them, 'Because of this every scribe having been discipled in regard to the reign of the heavens, is like to a man, a householder, who doth bring forth out of his treasure things new and old.'

If, however, he ignores them, tell it to the congregation. If he also ignores the congregation, regard him as an unbeliever and a tax collector.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ we are afraid of the [response of the] crowd; for they all regard John as a prophet.”

For the one who eats and drinks without careful regard for the body eats and drinks judgment against himself.

With regard to the collection for the saints, please follow the directions that I gave to the churches of Galatia:

With regard to our brother Apollos: I strongly encouraged him to visit you with the other brothers, but it was simply not his intention to come now. He will come when he has the opportunity.

for, for this also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether in regard to all things ye are obedient.
