'Ropes' in the Bible

They say, "Let's tear off the shackles they've put on us! Let's free ourselves from their ropes!"

The ropes of death were wrapped around me;the torrents of destruction terrified me.

The ropes of Sheol entangled me;the snares of death confronted me.
