'Saints' in the Bible

When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Another angel, with a gold incense burner, came and stood at the altar. He was given a large amount of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the gold altar in front of the throne.

The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up in the presence of God from the angel’s hand.

The nations were angry,but Your wrath has come.The time has comefor the dead to be judgedand to give the rewardto Your servants the prophets,to the saints, and to those who fear Your name,both small and great,and the time has come to destroythose who destroy the earth.

And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation.

If anyone is destined for captivity,into captivity he goes.If anyone is to be killed with a sword,with a sword he will be killed.This demands the perseverance and faith of the saints.

This demands the perseverance of the saints, who keep God’s commands and their faith in Jesus.”

Because they poured outthe blood of the saints and the prophets,You also gave them blood to drink;they deserve it!

Then I saw that the woman was drunk on the blood of the saints and on the blood of the witnesses to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

Rejoice over her, heaven,and you saints, apostles, and prophets,because God has executed your judgment on her!

and the blood of prophets and saints,and of all those slaughtered on earth,was found in you.

She was given fine linen to wear, bright and pure.For the fine linen represents the righteous acts of the saints.

They came up over the surface of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
