'Shame' in the Bible
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
As for all my enemies, they will be put to shame; they will be greatly frightened and suddenly turn away ashamed. A Davidic psalm, which he sang to the LORD, because of the words of Cush the descendant of Benjamin.
You have made clear your strength even out of the mouths of babies at the breast, because of those who are against you; so that you may put to shame the cruel and violent man.
You would put to shame the counsel of the afflicted,But the Lord is his refuge.
They cried out to you and escaped; they trusted in you and were not put to shame.
O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
Show me a sign of Your goodness;my enemies will see and be put to shamebecause You, Lord, have helped and comforted me.
The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.
Keep in mind, O Lord, the shame of your servants, and how the bitter words of all the people have come into my heart;
All who serve carved images,those who boast in idols, will be put to shame.All the gods must worship Him.
Though they curse, You will bless.When they rise up, they will be put to shame,but Your servant will rejoice.
Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect unto all thy commandments.

May all who hate ZionBe put to shame and turned backward;
His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
The Lord gives help to the poor in spirit; but he sends sinners down in shame.
