'Sons' in the Bible

The vine dries upAnd the fig tree fails;The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,All the trees of the field dry up,Indeed, joy dries up and withdrawsFrom the sons of men.

“It shall come about after thisThat I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind;And your sons and your daughters will prophesy,Your old men will dream dreams,Your young men will see visions.

and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the Greeks, so that you may send them far away from their territory,
