'Themselves' in the Bible

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.

With kings and with counselors of the earth,Who rebuilt ruins for themselves;

“They have gaped at me with their mouth,They have slapped me on the cheek with contempt;They have massed themselves against me.

“They push the needy aside from the road;The poor of the land are made to hide themselves altogether.

“In the dark they dig into houses,They shut themselves up by day;They do not know the light.

The young men saw me and hid themselves,And the old men arose and stood.

“There is no darkness or deep shadowWhere the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

Then He declares to them their workAnd their transgressions, that they have magnified themselves.
