'Told' in the Bible

Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him and all the signs that he had commanded him.

No straw is given to your servants, but we are told, 'Make bricks!' Your servants are even being beaten, but the fault is with your people."

The Israelite foremen saw that they were in trouble when they were told, "You must not reduce the daily quota of your bricks."

Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to Egypt for Israel's sake, and all the hardship that had come on them along the way, and how the Lord had delivered them.

The Lord said to Moses, "I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and so that they will always believe in you." And Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.

"Pay attention to do everything I have told you, and do not even mention the names of other gods -- do not let them be heard on your lips.

Moses came and told the people all the Lord's words and all the decisions. All the people answered together, "We are willing to do all the words that the Lord has said,"

He told the elders, "Wait for us in this place until we return to you. Here are Aaron and Hur with you. Whoever has any matters of dispute can approach them."

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel your servants, to whom you swore by yourself and told them, 'I will multiply your descendants like the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken about I will give to your descendants, and they will inherit it forever.'"

and told Moses, "The people are bringing much more than is needed for the completion of the work which the Lord commanded us to do!"
