'Vigorous' in the Bible

The midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife can get to them.”

“His vigorous stride is shortened,And his own scheme brings him down.

“Can a vigorous man be of use to God,Or a wise man be useful to himself?

But my enemies are vigorous and strong,And many are those who hate me wrongfully.

Though youths grow weary and tired,And vigorous young men stumble badly,

We grope along the wall like blind men,We grope like those who have no eyes;We stumble at midday as in the twilight,Among those who are vigorous we are like dead men.
