'Wicked' in the Bible
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,Nor stand in the path of sinners,Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
The wicked are not so,But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,But the way of the wicked will perish.
Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God!For You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek;You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.
O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous;For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds.
You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked;You have blotted out their name forever and ever.
The Lord has made Himself known;He has executed judgment.In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion Selah.
The wicked will return to Sheol,Even all the nations who forget God.
In pride the wicked hotly pursue the afflicted;Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire,And the greedy man curses and spurns the Lord.
The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him.All his thoughts are, “There is no God.”
Why has the wicked spurned God?He has said to himself, “You will not require it.”
Break the arm of the wicked and the evildoer,Seek out his wickedness until You find none.
For, behold, the wicked bend the bow,They make ready their arrow upon the stringTo shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked,And the one who loves violence His soul hates.
Upon the wicked He will rain snares;Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.
The wicked strut about on every sideWhen vileness is exalted among the sons of men.
From the wicked who despoil me,My deadly enemies who surround me.
Arise, O Lord, confront him, bring him low;Deliver my soul from the wicked with Your sword,
I hate the assembly of evildoers,And I will not sit with the wicked.
In whose hands is a wicked scheme,And whose right hand is full of bribes.
Do not drag me away with the wickedAnd with those who work iniquity,Who speak peace with their neighbors,While evil is in their hearts.
Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, for I call upon You;Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked,But he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.
Evil shall slay the wicked,And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
Let not the foot of pride come upon me,And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more;And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.
The wicked plots against the righteousAnd gnashes at him with his teeth.
The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bowTo cast down the afflicted and the needy,To slay those who are upright in conduct.
Better is the little of the righteousThan the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,But the Lord sustains the righteous.
But the wicked will perish;And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures,They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.
The wicked borrows and does not pay back,But the righteous is gracious and gives.
For the Lord loves justiceAnd does not forsake His godly ones;They are preserved forever,But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.
The wicked spies upon the righteousAnd seeks to kill him.
Wait for the Lord and keep His way,And He will exalt you to inherit the land;When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
I have seen a wicked, violent manSpreading himself like a luxuriant tree in its native soil.
But transgressors will be altogether destroyed;The posterity of the wicked will be cut off.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;He delivers them from the wicked and saves them,Because they take refuge in Him.

“A wicked thing is poured out upon him,That when he lies down, he will not rise up again.”
But to the wicked God says,“What right have you to tell of My statutesAnd to take My covenant in your mouth?
Because of the voice of the enemy,Because of the pressure of the wicked;For they bring down trouble upon meAnd in anger they bear a grudge against me.
The wicked are estranged from the womb;These who speak lies go astray from birth.
The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance;He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;As wax melts before the fire,So let the wicked perish before God.
Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked,Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,
For I was envious of the arrogantAs I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
Behold, these are the wicked;And always at ease, they have increased in wealth.
“I said to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’And to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up the horn;
For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams;It is well mixed, and He pours out of this;Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.
And all the horns of the wicked He will cut off,But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.
How long will you judge unjustlyAnd show partiality to the wicked? Selah.
Rescue the weak and needy;Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
You will only look on with your eyesAnd see the recompense of the wicked.

Let the righteous smite me in kindness and reprove me;It is oil upon the head;Do not let my head refuse it,For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds.
Let the wicked fall into their own nets,While I pass by safely.
The Lord keeps all who love Him,But all the wicked He will destroy.
The Lord protects the strangers;He supports the fatherless and the widow,But He thwarts the way of the wicked.
The Lord supports the afflicted;He brings down the wicked to the ground.
